Arja Flinkman

| Arja has extensive experience in the education area. She is currently working as the CEO and Chief Principal in a Finnish Vocational Education and Training provider, South Savo Education Ltd., and she is active in regional Chamber as a member of the board as well as chairman of the committee of the competencies and know-how. Their college includes both IVET and HVET and it is committed to steer the green transfer through upskilling and re-skilling of both current students and people already in the working life. Earlier she has worked also as CFO and CIO of Mikkeli city consortium. She has worked as the Vice President (Policy) of EfVET since 2020 and as board member of Finnish Association for the Development of Vocational Education and Training (Amke) for three years between 2017 – 2019. Currently she is a member in EMPL VET Provider’s Expert group and EQF Advisory Group as a representative of VET4EU2 network of VET Associations, as well as a member of the Working Group of GreenTransfer under the European Commission. |
